Once you have your four pages printed, layer them with the cover page facing up on top and the Day 1/Day 7 next. Of the four pages in each journal, you want to print pages 1 and 2 on the same paper and 3 and 4 together. However, you might find it easiest to manually feed your paper in and print one page at a time to ensure you have the correct pages facing the the right directions. In general, you want these pages to “flip on the short side” in order to turn out right. Now, I experimented printing these pages on a few different printers, and sure enough they all printed a little differently based on how the paper feeds into that specific machine. Next, print the four (or more!) pages of the travel journal double-sided. Note: Each journal is clearly labeled with a separator page!

To start, select which journal you want to make (there are 7 different options) and find it the PDF download from The Toolbox. These journals are really easy to print and assemble, but they do require you to think through and pay attention to your printing just a bit in order for them to turn out right! While the journals only include daily entries for a 7-day trip, I do include coordinating “blank” journal entry pages so that you can easily extend/customize the journal to match the amount of days you’ll be traveling! The final back page of the booklet features the Day 7 journal entry, as well as a spot to record quick, specific memories at the end of the trip! The inside back cover also matches the front and back cover iconography!
